Rollaas Peaberry Coffee is the one of three specialty coffee, this type of coffee comes from Arabica coffee beans. Its size is smaller than Arabica Coffee in general and in Indonesia is known as Kopi Lanang. Lanang means male in Bahasa Indonesia and because it is a single bean, and there's a myth that this coffee can make higher vitality for man.
Peaberry Coffee beans have an unique taste other coffee variants and is grown in the area of Ijen Mountains, East Java-Indonesia, at a hight of 1000 - 1500 meters. Because it is different breed of gen, the fruit of the coffee plant develops as two halves of a bean within a single cherry, but sometimes only one of the two seeds gets fertilized so there is nothing to flatten it. It is smaller size then regular coffee and has a unique shape because it's oval and not like other coffee which have 2 part of balls. In addition to size, shape and its unique taste, this coffee is very special because of the limited number of production amount, 5% - 10% of the overall production of Arabica Coffee. This selected coffee bean is further processed in Wet & Wash Process than consider quality assurance management system so that produce a high quality Rollaas Peaberry Coffee with an exceptional taste, little to medium acidity, medium body and intense aroma.
